01We run a compression and leak-down test on every cylinder, pressure-test the cooling system, and inspect the valve cover, oil filter housing and timing chain guides for wear, then listen for cold-start rattle and turbo noise.
Our technicians read ZF 8HP adaptation values and clutch wear counters, test shift quality on the road, check the xDrive transfer case, and inspect the differential and driveshaft, with fluid condition noted on the final report.
Every bushing, damper, air spring and steering rack goes under scrutiny on the lift, with alignment readings recorded and a replacement estimate added for every worn part found, so nothing hides behind a smooth test drive.
Pad thickness, disc thickness and brake fluid moisture are measured at four corners, tyre DOT dates and tread depth are recorded, and worn parts get a replacement quote, along with alignment faults the wear pattern reveals.
Using factory ISTA software, we scan every control unit before and after the drive, test the battery with a conductance tester, and verify iDrive, lighting and driver assistance, including cameras, parking sensors and adaptive cruise control.
After 10 minutes at idle, we measure centre vent temperature, check high-side and low-side pressures, trace evaporator leaks with UV dye, and then test the compressor clutch engagement, plus the rear vents and cabin filter condition.
A coating thickness gauge goes over every panel to expose repaint and filler, followed by checks of panel gaps, crash beams, chassis legs, underbody and flood damage signs, with every mark photographed and mapped by panel.
Mileage in DME, EGS and key memory is compared with the odometer, VIN and service history are verified, and a 20-minute road test ends with a second scan that catches any faults appearing only under load.

No. Your presence is optional. The seller hands over the car, and you receive the report and a summary call. Buyers who attend are welcome to watch the lift check and ask questions on the spot.
A failed report gives you 3 options: renegotiate with the cost estimate, ask the seller to fix the faults before transfer, or walk away. The next inspection is free if the seller sells the car before we arrive. Most buyers use the estimate to cut the asking price rather than abandon the deal.
Yes. Agency service records confirm oil changes and recall work, not accident repair, paint, tyre age or fault memory. Service history and structural condition are two different records. Even agency-serviced cars arrive with repainted panels and cleared fault codes more often than buyers expect.
Yes. Mobile inspections in Dubai and Sharjah are available with a travel fee quoted at booking. The report format and the 24-hour delivery stay the same for every emirate.
The workshop package costs AED 349 and the mobile package costs AED 449, including 5% VAT. The AED 100 difference covers technician travel, and the mobile visit skips the lift-based compression test. Both packages include the full report, photos and a cost estimate at no extra charge.
A refusal is a warning sign, whether it comes from a private seller or a showroom. Most dealers in Abu Dhabi allow a third-party check on their premises, and sellers with sound cars gain from it because the report supports their price. Move on to another car if the refusal stands. No fee applies if the seller refuses access after booking.
